About the role: a Credits Risk Associate is responsible for analyzing and determining a customer’s ability to pay at the estimated date of payment in order to fulfil their contractual obligations

Job description:

• Analyzing financial data to assess risk exposure and recommend solutions

• Monitoring and reviewing a customer’s credit history and application to determine their risk of defaulting on payment

• Reviewing financial statements to determine the company’s ability to repay its debts

• Prepare reports summarizing and analyzing findings and recommending next steps

To succeed in this role, you should:

• Have the ability to multitask

• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Person Specification:

• 2-3 years’ work experience

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related course

• Experience in an FMCG and a Microfinance bank is an advantage

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
