The platform provides direct access to manufactured/registered distributor medicines to large and small healthcare retail businesses, including large pharmacies and remote chemist/PPMVs. Remedial Health uses technology to deliver just-in-time stock and provide financing and a wide selection of inventory to such retail business.

About The Role

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pricing Analyst. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing pricing and market data, developing pricing strategies for medications and other pharmaceutical products based on market trends, and monitoring the competition. The Pricing Analyst will also be responsible for optimizing pricing decisions to enhance profitability while ensuring affordability for clients.

Job Description

  • Gather, organize and analyze relevant pricing-related data sets such as historical pricing, sales data, competitor pricing structures, market research/trends, customer data, industry standards, and internal cost structures specific to the pharmaceutical industry for the development of sustainable competitive pricing strategies for all SKUs.

  • Design and implement optimal company-wide competitive pricing strategies for effective sales and revenue generation, and overall profitability of the business.

  • Monitor sales pricing/rates of all product categories across regions (Lagos and Kano) to maximize profit and mitigate revenue shortfall.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for pricing inquiries at all times.

  • Utilize statistical models and data analytical techniques to assess the impact of pricing decisions on revenue and profitability.

  • Conduct data analysis to identify pricing opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement and also maintain a competitive edge in the market.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate pricing insights to the management through the line manager on a weekly basis.

  • Monitor and track competitor pricing strategies in the pharmaceutical industry to help stay ahead.

  • Identify pricing differentials and opportunities to Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends affecting pharmaceutical pricing.

  • Collaborate closely with the management, procurement team, and vendors to align pricing strategies with product supply.

  • Continuously refine pricing models and strategies to optimize profitability while considering client’s affordability and access to all available SKUs.

  • Recommend pricing adjustments based on data analysis, market conditions, and client feedback.

Qualifications

  • 3 years work experience in Pharmaceutical business analytics or a related role within a pharmaceutical industry

  • A bachelor’s degree in data science or other related fields

  • Indepth knowledge and experience in formulating and deploying pharmaceutical pricing strategies

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

Person Specification

  • Possess strong data analytical skills, teamwork and communication skills

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel; experience using Tableau would be an advantage

  • Ability to work with large datasets specific to pharmaceutical pricing

  • Strong attention to detail skills

  • Excellent quantitative and financial analysis skills
